Employer Risk

 

Each employer has specific job risks based on the product or service being produced or provided.  Making hamburgers is different then making stoves.  Each may require some similar tasks, but the jobs are different.  Different jobs exposure the employee to different physical workplace stressors.  Most stressors are not hazardous by themselves, but when combined with at risk individual employees can trigger a pain muscle event.  Identifying at risk employees and higher risk job activities is one way for employers to reduce risk in workplace though prevention and also be in compliance the OSHA general duty clause 5.1.a.
